DESCRIPTION

How do we turn Natalia Turnova’s sculptures The Egg and the Rock into two giants in dialogue? The same way we have always made gods from mountains, sheep from clouds or possible friends or foes out of strangers: by using our imagination, projecting our desire into reality, and attempting to understand the unknown.

In this short workshop, we will play with the online group format to look at a bunch of people we do not know. We will imagine stories about them in our minds and test in action what stories are real and what are our imagination. We will play with seeing and being seen, allowing silence and non-verbal communication to stimulate new antennae in connection with others and letting our imagination run free for a while. At the end, together we’ll check the effect of imagining together in a group of strangers.
