DESCRIPTION

Why do we so often fill the silence with conversation, social media videos, and music? What if we took the risk and filled it with our own voice? What could we discover, and how would that experience change us?

Our voices can express much more than words can, and each of us holds many melodies and rhythms within. Many people mistakenly believe that only those who know how to sing and do it well should sing at all. This three-hour session of vocal practice will help participants connect with themselves and observe what is happening within. Participants will learn to experience images as music through association and the observation of sensation. These practices will create the foundation for an online performance that participants can choose to record or keep as a memory.
