At this special event, Clémentine Deliss, cultural historian, educator, and associate curator at KW Institute of Contemporary Art, Berlin, will discuss her experience of working with contentious historical collections. In particular, the discussion will offer a critique of European ethnographic museums, their potential and inherent limitations. The discussion will be chaired by Vlad Strukov. The event will mark the publication of the Russian translation of Deliss’ book The Metabolic Museum.
