In September Garage launches a new Education Center situated adjacent to the Exhibition Pavilion in Gorky Park. Offering nearly 1000 square-meters of flexible learning and event spaces, the building accommodates a wide-range of educational activities simultaneously, from classes and workshops for children and families, to lectures, conferences, concerts, and film screenings. Providing unprecedented access to art for people of all ages, Garage Education Center is the first facility of its kind in Russia.
Family programs are Garage’s priority in Fall 2013 with a number of creative workshops on offer for children ages 3+ to enjoy with their families. From September, Garage’s first series of in-depth academic seminars on art history, curating, architecture, and contemporary art will begin, designed specifically for young professionals.
