Four days a week, the space of Paweł Althamer’s installation Silence will be activated through group meditation sessions. In a unique situation created by the artist at the intersection of two spaces—Gorky Park and his garden Silence—visitors can forget about the city noise and rush and enjoy peace and silence using meditation techniques developed by seven mediators/performers in collaboration with the artist.

When registering for the event, visitors can choose their preferred guide and method. Groups are 15 people max. Admission is possible only with registration and provided there are free spaces in the session. After you register, Museum managers will contact you to confirm your registration. In case of bad weather, the meditation will take place inside the Museum.

Visitors who wish to explore the installation without a group are welcome to use the audio meditation guide recorded for the project. A mediator is always present in the installation and will be happy to answer any questions.

Special sessions are available for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearingwith developmental disabilities.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Free admission with advance registration.

Due to poor weather conditions, meditations are taking place inside the Museum.
