Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and Ingosstrakh invite visitors to the closing night of Takashi Murakami’s exhibition Under the Radiation Falls.
The night of February 3, 2018 continues the series of special events organised as part of Garage and Ingosstrakh's partnership program, introducing the visitors to some of the key and most exciting phenomena in contemporary art. Entrance to the exhibition will be free of charge for all registered guests.
Under the Radiation Falls is Takashi Murakami’s first major show in Russia. Consisting of five sections that each explore a particular phenomenon in Japanese culture, the exhibition spans several periods of the artist’s career from the mid-1990s to now. Presenting his work in the broader context of Japanese culture for the first time, the exhibition pays homage to Murakami’s long-term project to creatively unite and question Eastern and Western traditions.
