In 2019 Garage Museum for the third time hosts The ART Newspaper Russia FILM FESTIVAL organized by its media partner The Art Newspaper Russia.

TANR FF will show in Garage a documentary by Nick Willing “Unstoppable: Sean Scully and the art of everything”. The full program of the festival features documentaries about the famous fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, the British artist Paola Rego, the author of colossal site-specific installations Christo, cartoon about Louis Bunuel, nostalgic movie about being young in Mexico of the 1980s, visionary study of the sacred architecture, the first documentary about emoji phenomenon and a special selection of short animated movies.

Nick Willing travels around the world with Sean Scully, one of the most expensive contemporary artists, abstractionist and philosopher, nominated twice for Turner Prize, who is much more appreciated and recognized outside his native Great Britain. In just one year the 73-year-old master opens 15 personal shows in major world museums, from Mexico to St. Petersburg, and the finale of this marathon is the opening reception in the National Gallery in London.
