An inspiring biopic of photographer and model Bunny Yeager, the inventor of selfies and the queen of pin-up.
The most acclaimed West Coast model of the 1950s, Bunny Yeager achieved success working on both sides of the camera. It is to her that we owe the discovery of Betty Page and female agency in erotic photography. The film, composed of archival footage, new material shot in Miami Beach, and celebrity interviews, brings to mind the aesthetics of Lana Del Ray, with its sun, ocean, and beautiful women with sad eyes, who have managed to find their place in a man’s world.
