Participants of the marathon will study lekha g.’s ironic installations made of toys (some broken!), think of funny stories, and present them as toy installations. They will also find out about other artists who use toys in their work.

Time
13:00–14:15

Mask Workshop

For the 2nd Garage Triennial, Kristina Gorlanova produced masks of artists with whom she had worked at Garage Studios and Artist Residencies who are also taking part in the exhibition. Each mask is made in the style of the artist it is devoted to, or in the spirit of their key projects, so you might spot several very similar works by other artists in the show.

Together with Garage tutors, participants will try to guess which artist each mask represents and learn about other uses of masks in art. During the practical part, they will produce masks for themselves or their friends.

Time
