Writer, artist, and part-time superhero Jess Thom is “changing the world one tic at a time”. Jess has Tourette’s Syndrome, a neurological condition which makes her say biscuit up to 16,000 times a day. Through Touretteshero, she has recast Tourette’s as her power and pioneered forms of creative engagement that promote increased inclusivity within the arts. This creative and playful workshop explores new ways to think about disability and difference.
