DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invites visitors with developmental and learning disabilities to take part in free tours and workshops based on the exhibition Atelier E.B: Passer-by.

The exhibition, by designer Beca Lipscombe and artist Lucy McKenzie, examines the stories of real people who worked in iconic department stores, museums, and world’s fairs. The visitor becomes a passer-by who walks through various times and place, observing the development of the art of fashion display.

After the tour, visitors are invited to take part in a workshop based on the exhibition.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Tours are adapted for groups of 3 to 12 visitors (including carers).

The duration of the tour plus workshop is 80 minutes but can be changed at the request of the group.

To book a tour please contact us at openmuseum@garagemca.org at least a week before your planned visit.
