Adapted guided tours of the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art

DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invites visitors with intellectual disabilities to take part in free guided tours of the 2nd Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art A Beautiful Night for All the People

The exhibition is held at the Museum every three years and is aimed at supporting local authors. This year's edition of the Triennial addresses the diversity of relationships within the art community and explores the connections—friendly, professional, romantic, and random—that drive contemporary Russian art.

The staff of Garage's Inclusive Programs department has prepared two adapted excursion routes with checklists dedicated to the themes Travel and Everyday Life.

Participants of the Travel guided tour will embark on a journey through the objects executed by artists based in various cities in Russia and across the globe and will learn more about the way the show is organized.

The Everyday Life route offers a new perspective on ordinary things and encourages participants to discover inspiration in mundane objects.

At the group's request, it will be possible to hold an online meeting before each route to prepare for a visit to the Museum and conduct a brief masterclass.
