Eugene the Architect is a book by illustrator and architect Thibaut Rassat which tells the story of an architect named Eugene, who used to design monotonous buildings until one day a large tree inspired him to find novel creative solutions.

Together with educator Polina Fesan, the group will read excerpts from the book and discuss how architects can draw inspiration from nature. During the creative session, participants will build their own treehouse models.

about the host

Polina Fesan is a teacher on the Uteens education project at Universal University (Moscow), as well as the author and host of creative masterclasses for children. She is also a mediator at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and leads the children’s tour A History of Transformation around the Museum building.
