Description

Don’t you know James Franco? James Franco is a Hollywood pretty boy actor who played in Spider Man, 127 Hours and was a presenter on the last year Oscar ceremony together with Ann Hataway. It turns out Franco has many gifts: he can write, he is keen on stage direction and art of performance. Francophernia starts as a documentary about Franco being filmed in the Main Hospital soap opera. However unexpectedly this rather realistic ‘film about a film’ transforms into an ironic psycho-thriller destroying the genre canons.

Screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2012.
