As a result of the final division of Soviet art into official and unofficial, which happened after the controversial 1962 exhibition in Manezh, the Moscow underground art acquired its special features, the life and ways of being. In this lecture Sasha Obukhova will talk about apartment exhibitions and art galleries, the first collections of works of non-conformists and how unofficial artists in Soviet times had the experience of living a "double life".
