In the third lecture Sasha Obukhova will continue the story of the main trends of non-conformism in the 1960s Soviet State. This time we will focus on geometric abstraction, Soviet pop art and Kinetism. The heroes of the lecture are Francisco Infante, Leo Nusberg, Vladimir Slepian and Vladimir Yankilevsky. Sasha Obukhova will reveal details of Nikita Khrushchev's controversial visit to the exhibition in Manezh in 1962 which caused the final split of Soviet art into the official and unofficial.
