Worlds Constructing for Beginners

"If you find this world bad you should see some of the others ..." Philip K. Dick

He is not interested either in predicting the future, or methodologies; he tells a story of the present, taking advantage of cinematic images or the exhibition space.

For Philip there is longer one final image that can be endlessly contemplated: there are only chains of images. Then art becomes a science of manipulating symbols, words or pictures. A mobile image breaks into your mind, displaces them and destroys any distance between you and his constructed world.

Irina Kulik (b. 1970) is an art critic, cultural studies expert, PhD, lecturer at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA Moscow), the author of numerous publications on contemporary art, cinema and modern music.

Antonio Geusa is an independent curator and critic, with a PhD on Media Art from the University of London.
