The course helps children develop their understanding of spatial relations between shapes and objects and introduces them to the works of the world’s biggest architects.

Participants will learn to see shapes that form our environment and creatively transform them. Each class includes a discussion of the use of geometric shapes in world architecture, and a practical part, where kids make their own models of spaces.

A course in architecture for children aged 6 to 8.

ABOUT THE COURSE INSTRUCTORS

 
Daria Turanskaya

Daria Turanskaya is an architect and teacher. She graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (where she specialized in residential and public architecture) in 2005. From 2001, she worked as an architect at Mosproject 4’s project workshop and later moved to Mosproject 2. She has also been a leading architect at the architectural workshop UB DESIGN for over seven years.

 
Marina Weisman

Marina Weisman is an architect and teacher. She graduated from the Moscow State Academy Art Lyceum in 1998, and the Moscow Architectural Institute (where she specialized in residential and public architecture) in 2005. She has been working as an architect at Mosproject 4’s project workshop and at the architectural workshop UB DESIGN since 2003.

In the first class, students will learn to turn plane figures into three-dimensional solids and look at the spectrum.
