This family course for kids aged eight and older and their parents combines an introduction to the history of architectural styles and forms with practice to develop spatial thinking.

In each class, participants work on their own projects, planning the city of the future, making stained glass windows or constructing bridges. The combination of theory and practice allows them to get a better feeling of space, shape, proportion, and composition.

The course consists of 22 classes in two blocks: 11 classes from February to May and 11 classes from September to December. Participants may subscribe to either segment; however, it is recommended to start with the first block.

Final lesson. Museum visit

The final class invites participants to use the knowledge they have acquired during the course and discuss the architecture of Garage Museum of Contemporary Art: its structure, materials and the use of light.
