The publication 'Progressive Nostalgia. Contemporary Art of the Former USSR' is finalizing a curatorial research that covers the territory of the so‑called post‑Soviet space. Four independent exhibitions that took place in the spring and fall of 2007 in four European museums became the result of this curatorial research. They were «Return of the Memory» at the KUMU Art Museum (Tallinn, Estonia), «On Geekdom» at the Benaki Museum (Athens, Greece), «Time of the Storytellers» at the KIASMA Museum (Helsinki, Finland) and «Progressive Nostalgia» — which lent its name to this entire project — in the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art (Prato, Italy).
Book design based on bilingual system, English and Russian. Designed for Agey Tomesh / WAM Publishing Group.
