Revolutionary Sensorium. Pavilion of the Republic of Armenia
Revolutionary Sensorium. The project reconstructs the revolutionary events that took place in Armenia in the Spring of 2018. The team behind Revolutionary Sensorium — the Artlabyerevan artistic group (Gagik Charchyan, Vardan Jaloyan, Hovhannes Margaryan, Arthur Petrosyan) and project curator Susanna Gyulamiryan — have researched and put together a visual look at data that chronicle the Revolution, comprising critical discussions and post- revolutionary reflections on the need for the fundamental reorganization of life in Armenia. One other element of the project is an outdoor performance by artist Narine Arakelian, who will reiterate a women‑led act of performative disobedience popular during the days of the Revolution.
