Ansel Adams: Sierra Nevada: The John Muir Trail
At age 36, Ansel Adams was commissioned to prepare a collection of his images taken along the John Muir Trail. “Sierra Nevada: The John Muir Trail” is the output, and was a tribute to an American mountaineer who perished in an accident. This version includes Adams' foreword as in the 1936 edition, as well as an introductory essay by William Turnage detailing the story behind the original publishing run.
