Cities in the Nature/ Citta Nella Natura: Ecourban Design, Landscapes, Slow Cities
The book deals with theoretical and design issues of a new way of considering the relationship between the city and natural systems, based on design research conducted on a sample of cities, known for their Italian quality of life (Bolzano and Trento) and their consolidated experience in terms of urban, landscape and environmental sustainability in the Alps. Urban centres, public spaces, natural contexts, infrastructure and architecture, from Lake Garda to Innsbruck are all included here.
