Applications open for Art & Technology grant program

Garage and BMW group open applications for its Art and Technology grant, which supports emerging artists and artist groups working with information and engineering technologies, and in the field of art & science.

As well as a monthly fellowship of 30,000 rubles, the winners will have an opportunity to visit the BMW Museum located at BMW Munich headquarters and consult with BMW experts regarding the project implementation. Each winner will have a year to implement the project, whose maximum budget should not exceed the allocated funding of 750,000 rubles.

Applying artists and artist groups should be from eighteen to thirty-five years old. Creativity, non-standard thinking, work with new technology, convincing and logical presentation, as well as implementability of the project and its conformity with the required budget is a plus. All applications should be submitted with a detailed description of the project and planned expenses. All projects should be realized within twelve months.

The 2017/2018 grant program is organized in partnership with BMW Group. For BMW Group which celebrated its centenary in 2016, the partnership with Garage is a wonderful opportunity to support contemporary art.
