Workshop: Universal Design for Learning and Inclusive Events: Engaging People with and without Learning Disabilities in Activities

DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and the Polytechnic Museum’s inclusive program Different People—A New Museum will run a joint online workshop dedicated to universal design in museum education.

The speakers representing cultural institutions and NGOs will exchange experiences, discuss the stages of engaging people with learning disabilities in museum projects, and explain which tools are most effective in organizing and delivering programs for mixed groups.

PARTICIPANTS

Lada Efimova is the coordinator of the project Autism Friendly at the Anton's Right Here Foundation.


Katrin Nenasheva is an engagement specialist at the Polytechnic Museum.


Alina Zhekamukhova is a manager at Garage’s Inclusive Programs department and a volunteer working with integration projects for children with learning disabilities.
