DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and the Vykhod Foundation for autism-related issues present free tours of the exhibition Proof for visitors with autism.

The exhibition features large charcoal drawings by Robert Longo, etchings by Francisco Goya and sketches by Sergei Eisenstein—exhibited for the first time. These works by three artists represent different eras and cultures, focusing on some of the most important issues of each period.

The tour of Proof invites visitors to have a closer look at the possibilities offered to us by black and white images and the way they can help us express a great range of ideas and emotions.

The tour is tailored for people with autism and involves extra visual and ludic elements, allowing for a better understanding of the exhibition.

A special presentation and a social story by Garage staff will help people with autism prepare for the visit and recall their favorite moments of the tour afterwards.

A quiet room will be available, should participants wish to rest during the visit.

The tour includes a workshop based on Robert Longo’s works.
