Date

Schedule

on Saturdays

Garage Atrium

DESCRIPTION

Garage is launching a series of summer workshops for children and adults, where participants will learn how artists engage with everyday life in its various manifestations—be it a breakfast dish, brushing teeth, or the sound of typing on a laptop keyboard.

Each workshop includes an introductory part and a practical session: the group will analyze examples from contemporary art and create a work based on their own personal experience.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Free admission with advance registration.

Schedule

Diaries workshop

Keeping a diary helps to record events and reflect on personal experience. During the session participants will learn how artists work with diaries, both creating their own and using found ones. The practical part will involve designing the first spread of participants’ own diaries, which they will take home with them.
