Garage Screen. IV Moscow International Experimental Film Festival MIEFF

DESCRIPTION

The program will feature the four shorts that win the festival's competition, including the winner of The Coming World prize awarded by Garage on the occasion of the exhibition project The Coming World: Ecology as the New Politics 2030–2100.

The international jury consists of video artist Polina Kanis, curator Alexander Burenkov and filmmaker Lawrence Lek. The winners will be announced at the festival closing ceremony on July 14 at the Garage Screen summer cinema. For more information about the competition please visit MIEFF’s official website.

ABOUT MIEFF

Moscow International Experimental Film Festival was established in 2016 with a strong aspiration to create a new cultural institution that would provide a close look at a wide range of experimental practices with the moving image. MIEFF is an international showcase platform welcoming up-and-coming as well as experienced filmmakers from around the world and will lay the foundation for a new generation of artists in our country, facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue, and engage a wider creative young audience with this brave approach to seeing things differently in film.
