This picture by Nikolay Khomeriki follows a woman trying to adjust to the outside world.
Angelina is a junior lieutenant in the militia children’s room in a faraway seaside town. The female protagonist spends her everyday working with abandoned kids and unattractive colleagues, leading a grim life where nothing ever happens. But once she faces the necessity to dip into her identity and try to break up with the exhausting atmosphere of total alienation.
Through painful questions of human relationships and mutual existence, through lonely landscapes and Boschian characters, the theme of costume finds its way into this movie as a symbolic matter, a protective framework which replaces the bodily essence.
