SCIENCE BATTLE OF THE POLYTECHNIC MUSEUM
Monday, September 22, 7.30 pm
What does an apple basket have in common with a structural molecule? Can you explain the development of Artificial Intelligence using the example of a six-string guitar? SCIENCE BATTLE is a competition for young scientists. Each has 10 minutes to present his or her research, explaining obscure and complex issues without resorting to technical language, media presentations, boring slides or infographics, but using the simplest of props. At the end of the battle, the audience will choose the winner – the scientist with the most accessible and easily understandable presentation, who will be awarded a prize and invited to the final battle in December, 2014.
Scientists under the age of 35, conducting original research in any scientific field are welcome to participate.
Entrance is free, space is limited, please arrive early.
