DESCRIPTION

Stéphanie Verne’s Books and the People Who Make Them introduces the reader to the publishing business.

Readers find out what authors, editors, and printers do, how publishing houses are organized, and how books make it to library and bookshop shelves. Head of Garage Publishing Tatyana Rapoport will also talk about the Museum’s own publishing program.

During the creative part of the meeting, participants will produce a small zine in which they can imagine and describe their own publishing house: what kind of books they would publish, what jobs they would choose to do, and who they would work with.
