Online meeting: Ten Awkward Questions about Vaccination

Date

Schedule

18:30–20:30

DESCRIPTION

Biologists Irina Yakutenko and Georgii Bazykin and infectious diseases specialist Danila Konnov will answer awkward questions about vaccination compiled by Garage staff.

In 2020, Garage was the first cultural institution to switch to self-isolation mode, aiming to preserve the health of its employees and visitors. In an effort to prevent a repetition of this situation in 2021, the Museum would like to remind everyone that vaccination is recognized as the main way to fight coronavirus infection.

Even though vaccination is gaining momentum, Garage staff, like many others, continue to face a lot of questions. Who should be vaccinated and when? What does evidence-based medicine say about vaccines?

We decided to discuss these issues with experts and make the discussion public, providing another source of verified information on the Internet.

The speakers include molecular biologist Irina Yakutenko, evolutionary biologist Georgii Bazykin, and infectious diseases specialist Danila Konnov. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Andrei Babitsky.
