The first open lecture of the public program based on the Master’s course Art Business Management by Garage and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is devoted to corporate charity programs and their role in strategic management.
The lecture will look into private funding of culture and the recent charity boom. Drawing on his experience at JTI Russia, the company’s Community Investment and Internal Communications Director Alexander Arkhipov will speak about regulation in charity, the difference between corporate social responsibility and corporate sponsorship and the tools for measuring their efficiency. Listeners will also learn about the roots and the current state of patronage in culture and the reasons behind its increasing popularity and importance.
The lecture is part of Strategic Management course taught in Art Business Management program developed by Garage and RANEPA and organized during the open day for the Master’s Program in Art Business Management.
