DESCRIPTION

The second artistic intervention at the conference will be a cosmic dinner where guests will be served a menu designed by the artist Taus Makhacheva.

Dinner guests will be invited to try all the planets of our solar system in different states of matter: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. These experiments will allow participants to generate and investigate the transition of the macrocosmic space into the microcosmic one. In this “Open Space” environment curators of the conference “To Which Time Do We Belong? The New Historicity and The Politics of Time” and dinner guests will discuss new interpretations of the concepts of contemporaneity and historicity.
