Inclusive Programs Department invites everyone, with developmental disabilities and without, to a series of meetings about embroidery and fabric collage.
Embroidery Stories is a series of practical meetings about textile artist’s books and telling stories through embroidery.
Participants will be able to create a small textile book. It will tell the story of a favorite thing, which you need to bring with you. We will also discuss how books are structured, try various types of embroidery, and study quilting and stitches.
The sessions will be led by Anya Grositskaya, along with invited textile artists.
Participants should have basic sewing skills. To take part, please fill in the questionnaire.
