Discussion “Shoulder to Shoulder. How cultural platforms perform during the crisis”

6 May 2020
18:00

DESCRIPTION

Over the past few weeks, many museums have been reconsidering or reinforcing their presence on the Internet, with particular emphasis placed on novel formats of presenting information and working via new platforms. At the same time, all of them have to deal with the circulation of disturbing news concerning budgetary risks, cancellation of programs, and even the possible closure of certain institutions.

In conversation with representatives of various cultural institutions from different cities, Garage External Projects manager Arina Nesterova will discuss how they perform during the pandemic, while also using this condition as a starting point for launching new projects and networks, as well as which social functions they undertake and what kind of support they need.
