Before the screening of one of the greatest silent films, Anna Bashtovaya, expert from The Blueprint will talk about how one German movie set the template for half of modern sci-fi, design collections and stage costumes of famous pop stars.

It is difficult to overestimate the influence of Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927) on modern culture. Almost hundred years since its release directors, designers, and even artists derive inspiration from this movie, rethinking anew its visual esthetics. Anna Bashtovaya will explain why this anti-utopia is so remarkable and what is important to know.
