The main character of the film comes home in the south-west of Thailand right before New Year. He meets his father, discusses Albert Camus with a girl he used to be in love with. He dreams of becoming a director. When he walks along the street he gets stopped and asked not to intervene with filming In April the Following Year There Was a Fire.
