Playlist to the Point of Displacement Festival

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art played host to the third annual Point of Displacement Festival dedicated to migration and ethnocultural diversity.

Timed to coincide with World Refugee Day, the festival addresses the phenomenon of migration in a broad sense, including forced migration, labor migration, domestic, women’s, and children’s migration, revealing and making visible current movements in all their diversity.

As part of its festival program, the Museum shifted the focus from migration processes to the more multifaceted issue of ethnocultural diversity. The program comprised four blocks: theater, music, academic, and a block for kids and teens, with all events reflecting on how different people live side by side and different cultures coexist within one person.
