What does it mean to be "good at painting"? Ideas of what constitutes the ideal in painting—of what's important and what isn't—change with time, are forgotten and then come back to life. In art as in life, it is important to see beyond the given standard, to develop a unique vision and find the right approach and tools to express it.

The main purpose of this course is to help participants recognize and practice various drawing, painting, and design techniques that will allow them to express their thoughts and experiences on paper, canvas, and fabric.
