DESCRIPTION

Garage launches a film criticism workshop for visitors aged 14 to 17.

Over a century has passed since the invention of motion pictures, yet today we love cinema as much as ever. But why do we need people for whom watching films and TV series is a job? How is their work organized and what knowledge do they require? In this workshop of six sessions, participants will look into different genres within film criticism, learn to write reviews that people will want to read and, most importantly, watch and discuss films together with a presenter and invited experts. At the end of the workshop, each participant will produce an independent project in their preferred genre, which they can share with their fellow participants, their parents, and friends.
