DESCRIPTION

This cycle of weekly meetings features guided tours around the ongoing exhibitions, discussions with museum curators and educators, thematic reading groups, lectures on the history of art and culture delivered by invited experts in the field, and creative workshops moderated by young artists and Garage Museum’s teachers.

The participants will receive a better understanding of what a contemporary art museum is and how it works, learn more about curating and exhibition making, immerse in the context of ongoing exhibition projects, and acquire new facts from the history of art and culture.

Each meeting includes a lecture or seminar and an excursion or workshop with a coffee break in between.
