Bronze (Masterpieces of Jewish Art) (Russian and English Edition)
The majority of Jewish bronze and copper lamps of the past two centuries that are accumulated in collections abroad territorially pertain to Poland. However Poland itself was not to be found as an administrative unit on the map of Europe. Most of artistic works presented in this book are unambiguously in keeping with the Jewish national tradition. This is expressed, among other things, in their ritual nature and correspondence to the norms and ideas existing in Judaism.
