Fluxus: Russian Atlases. A Selection from the Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center, Vilnius
Catalogue of the exhibition that held at The State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, September 20 — November 3, 2013. These works come from the Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center in Vilnius and illustrate an international strain of contemporary art. “Fluxus is an ironic synthesis of the myriad strands of art activities and details from life all around us. Fluxus is actually the 'stream of life' transformed in to the 'stream of art'. Fluxus is both the successor to Dadaism and the neighbor of conceptualism,” writes the director of the Hermitage.
