Tate’s International Learning program BP Art Exchange will unite three art museums in Moscow

 

Tate’s International Learning program BP Art Exchange with the assistance of the British Council announces the launch of the program How We Learn by British artists Marysa Dowling and Luca Damiani at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, the Pushkin Museum and the State Tretyakov Gallery.

BP Art Exchange is an educational project dedicated to international cooperation and exchange. It brings together schools, galleries, artists and cultural institutions around the world with the help of the existing social media platform and offline programs, the essence of which is the interaction between artists, teachers and young people to discuss new creative ideas.

Russian BP Art Exchange 2014 program consists of events for children, teachers, art educators and artists:

6 and 7 October Garage Museum will hold How we learn workshop in collaboration with British artists for young specialists in art field, which were first presented at the show in Belfast Exposed and were adapted for global use in the framework of the BP Art Exchange.

8 October Luca Damiani and Marysa Dowling together with art educators will conduct the How we learn workshop for visitors of Garage Museum.

7 October Emotional mapping workshop for the students of junior high school in the the State Tretyakov Gallery and Sculpture Park

9 October How we learn workshop for high school students in TSEV Museyon Pushkin Museum

11 October Your family Tretyakov workshop for young students and their parents at the Educational Center of the State Tretyakov Gallery (Lavrushinsky Lane)
