This catalogue is published on the occasion of the exhibitions “Raymond Pettibon: Homo Americanus” in Deichtorhallen Hamburg / Sammlung Falckenberg, 28.02.2016-11.09.2016 and Museum der Moderne Salzburg 19.11.2016-12.02.2017. The exhibitions presented over 600 works from every part of the artist’s career, the majority of which have never been published before. Arranged thematically in 32 chapters, it charts the appearance and development of the themes that have defined Pettibon’s oeuvre.
