Naarashauki / Female Pike

This is a documentary photography book centered around the experience of midwinter pike fishing and the lives of rural people in northern Finland. As a native of the region, Männikkö offers an intimate portrayal of remote Finnish villages, capturing everyday life, local culture, and the close relationship between the inhabitants and their natural environment.
