Azerbaijan's Architecture of Late 19th — Early 21st Centuries

The book examines and appreciates Azerbaijan's architectural development since the late 19th century. It describes the most significant and architecturally interesting buildings and complexes in Baku and other sities of the Azerbaijan Republic. It gives special consideration to buildings constructed for public, residential, athletic and cultural purposes; the development of the tourist industry and consequent building of hotels and recreational areas; the restoration of monuments, both old and of the 20th century; and all the parks and squares of the City of Baku.
