Wladimir Kuprijanow. Romantischer Zyklus

This book was published on the occasion to the exhibition “Vladimir Kupriyanov. Romantic cycle”, which was held at the Empire Art Gallery, Mainz. Kupriyanov’s works are deeply rooted in Russian culture, and thus give German viewers the opportunity to directly touch this culture. As an artist, he cultivates a visual concept of social significance, and his works are characterized by attention to harsh reality and allusions arising from our memories.
