Artguide Editions and Garage have published an updated edition of Viktor Pivovarov's album. The second volume features works and series selected by the artist, including Characters (1996), Dark Rooms (1999–2003), Eidos (2000–2009), and Gardens of the Monk Rabinovich (2012–2013), which are important both within Pivovarov’s practice and for the time when they were made.

The book includes reproductions of the artist's works from 1996 to 2014.

Author

Viktor Pivovarov (b. 1937) is a representative of Soviet nonconformism, one of the founders of Moscow Conceptualism, and the illustrator of several cult books of the late Soviet period, including The Sandman and Black Hen. In the early 1980s, he emigrated to Prague, were he lives and works. His works are exhibited around the world, including in Russia.
